A 2001 log wagon and a Police Train Heist for MADABOUTLEGO
The one new film is a 121-piece open freight wagon from a quarter century ago, while a compilation of 2026 City trains keeps rolling.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
LEGO Trains Open Freight Wagon 10013
One wagon, one Friday. MADABOUTLEGO's only new film is a small one: the LEGO Trains Open Freight Wagon 10013, a 2001 set of 121 pieces carrying logs and chains. The description pitches it at adult fans who want to see a set built before buying, or who simply want to remember the ones they once had. The tags also mention a train crash, which on this channel is rarely a surprise.
That nostalgia sits alongside a very current lineup. The busiest video on the channel is "LEGO City Trains 2026," a seven-week-old tour through the Police Train Heist, the Vintage Steam Train and the Harbour Freight Train, with a chapter simply labeled "Crash!" at the end. It has passed 300,000 views. Behind it come two of this year's City sets: an airport with a passenger plane and a story billed as "Suspect Loose," and a coast guard rescue boat whose description promises that every boat really floats.
The channel's daily views are close to their usual level, which for a back catalog this deep means something like 450,000 a day, with no new spectacle needed. Among the art and craft channels nearest it in size, Nakshi Kantha World is the one having the big stretch, running at about twice its normal pace, while Pidgin Doll is quieter than usual.
Trains old and new, then, and on a channel that promises "Bringing Lego to Life," sooner or later something comes off the rails.
