KSI has gained roughly 100,000 subscribers in a day, bringing his main channel to 19.3 million. For a channel usually adding a few hundred a day, that is a striking change, though daily views are running below their usual pace rather than rising alongside it.

The jump comes with two rather different kinds of upload on the channel. His latest is a reaction to Prime FC's Baller League UK match against Toma FC. Just before that came "I Tried the World's Hardest Jobs," a challenge video whose title makes a much bigger claim than KSI makes in its description.

There, he stresses that trying a job briefly is not the same as doing it professionally every day. His ratings reflect his own experience, he explains, not a verdict on how difficult the work really is.
