Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

This is LA's PVP zone..

John Hicks describes his channel simply: he rides around different places and talks about what he sees. His latest batch gives that easygoing mission statement a more wary set of titles, all focused on Los Angeles, several explicitly after dark.

The biggest new upload, "This is LA's PVP zone..", borrows the gaming shorthand for player-versus-player encounters. It has passed 200,000 views and is drawing more daily views than any other video on the channel. Viewers bring their own screen references to the conversation, from Escape from L.A. to GTA V, while a couple of more practical comments single out the camera clarity and headlight.

Four other uploads fill out the week, including "this is why I NEVER slow down in LA.." and Friday's "LA is a nightmare at 1am.." The latter is already among his busiest videos, alongside the earlier "this was almost the end for me..", the park encounter we covered previously.

Across the channel, the week brought roughly two million views, while subscribers remained unchanged. Daily viewing is a little below Hicks's usual pace. Among nearby riding channels, Enduro KeX had a particularly substantial viewing week; brian_636 is enjoying a busier-than-usual daily audience.

For Hicks, the newest LA ride has become the main draw, shifting attention from that earlier park encounter to his gaming-inflected city exploration.
