It drew more than 22,000 views on its first day, which is a lot for a channel whose whole catalog usually brings in around 15,000 a day. Jaz has been at this a long time. She built her following on makeup tutorials and winged liner from Queensland, and the comment section has plenty of people who say they have watched since her nursing-student days. One older viewer writes that a woman in her thirties starting over solo in Paris is the kind of video she had been missing. Others ask about the shade on her nails, praise a Pamela Anderson-style updo and the black dress, and say hello to Soph, whose own vlog sent at least one new subscriber this way. One commenter even points to the half-hour mark as the moment that got them smiling.
The move video is still finding viewers, and so is a month-old La Roche-Posay sunscreen short. Her daily views are running close to double their usual pace. The subscriber count has not moved yet, holding at about 592,000.
Among beauty channels near her size this is a modest week next to milky, whose views run into the millions every day, but in Jaz's own corner Paris is plainly the story.
