Gavin's channel is built on project cars and life in the shop, but the clip still doing the most work is about someone else behind the wheel. "Old Man in a Hellcat GETS DOWN!" went up two weeks ago and is now close to a million views, still drawing more daily traffic than anything posted since.
There were seven new uploads, and they wander happily. A BMW and a Polaris RZR share snowy roads, and a lifted Kia Soul is pitched, in its own title, as better than a side-by-side. Both of those took off fast and are running nearly level with the Hellcat clip day to day. A Mustang with a strange new noise and a short on why ethanol fuel is hard on cars that sit too long had good first days and have since settled.
The quieter end of the week may be the more personal one. Two shorts follow the race trailer: one converts it into a camper, the other puts a full Mac workstation inside it. Both were only hours old, so it is early to judge them, but together they read like the shop's next chapter going on the road.
Overall the channel ran a little slower than usual, with about 1.4 million views over seven days and its subscriber count unchanged. That still put it third among nine car channels of similar size for views gained, behind Exotic Rubber and Clearview Driving, both having very big weeks. Junkyard Digs and BoostedBoiKyle were running far above their own usual pace.
