Bears, British Columbia and The Wild Frontier wait in I'm A Celebrity's wings
Ant & Dec's announcement of a Canadian spin-off for 2027, filmed with a real mountain backdrop, is the video still drawing the most daily views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Ant & Dec Reveal Their Brand New Show, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The Wild Frontier
Among the talent and reality channels of a similar size, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is the quiet one right now. Dancing With The Stars and RuPaul's Drag Race are both running well above their usual pace, while the jungle show's official channel posted nothing new over the past seven days and gained the fewest views of the group.
That makes sense for a show between seasons. What it does have is a piece of news that keeps finding people. Nearly a month ago, Ant & Dec turned up in British Columbia to reveal The Wild Frontier, a new show in which celebrity pairs take on Trials and Challenges in the Canadian wilderness. The description promises bears, and, with a nod to Dec, most likely birds too. It is due in 2027, with the Australian jungle series for 2026 coming first.
Behind it, two final Bushtucker Trials from the South Africa series are still being watched. Craig Charles, the Red Dwarf star, gets strapped to a tomb lid and lowered face-first into the dark to solve a puzzle with his face. Waterloo Road's Adam Thomas faces camel udder, fermented eggs and stinky tofu.
Without a new clip, the channel still ran busier than usual, at about 40,000 views a day against a more typical 27,000. Perhaps the Canada news has people looking back through the archive.
