Police duty joins Hudson's Playground Gaming's getaway week

Three new uploads turn random vehicles into escape tools, pursuit cars and a way into a secret military base.

Press to jump

  1. 0:00Dad sets the challenge: random vehicles, relentless police and a timer deciding whose escape lasts longer.
  2. 3:54Hudson takes a hatchback into tunnel chaos, including a collision with a SWAT truck.
  3. 6:50Dad's blue station wagon finds its way onto a drag strip during an extended escape.
  4. 10:26Sudden death begins with Dad driving a green coupe through the city and onto the highway.
  5. 12:17Hudson's final attempt takes a modified sedan through drainage tunnels; the deciding run unfolds here.

Hudson gets a turn chasing Dad, rather than simply trying to escape the cops, in "Using Random Vehicles Escaping Police". The later upload gives the week's random-car premise a role reversal: monster trucks, racecars and vans become part of a family cops-and-robbers game.

But the biggest audience belongs to "Escaping Police with Random Vehicles", now approaching two million views. That BeamNG.drive challenge starts with Dad warning, "These cops, they do not stop." Father and son take turns drawing vehicles and seeing how long they can survive, with tunnels proving particularly unwelcoming. A blue station wagon gives Dad an unexpectedly durable run before the contest reaches sudden death.

The third new outing, "Finding Aliens in Secret Military Base", takes a different route past the authorities. Hudson and Dad use a tractor and ATVs to jump into the base, with aliens and a SWAT pursuit included in the gaming adventure. Both later releases have drawn much smaller audiences than the original getaway challenge.

Across the channel, the week brought roughly 24 million views and continued subscriber growth. Daily viewing is also well above its usual level. Among nearby sports-and-racing gaming channels, Hudson's Playground Gaming had the largest weekly view total; amustycow also had a substantial week, while Duke Dennis 2K was quieter.

The getaway challenge carries the most momentum, but the older island hunt is busy too: "Searching Secret Island for Hidden Racecars" mixes boat travel, abandoned barns and buried cars into Hudson and Dad's vehicle adventures.
