Erasing credit card debt sounds useful. Ruining someone's dinner, less so. That gap supplies the joke in Hopeless Core's latest fast-starting clip, which reached about 1.4 million views in its first day, more than twenty times the channel's usual Shorts start.

The speaker opens with a question: "Why hackers never do anything fun, like eradicate credit card debt?" A calm voiceover and scenic footage then deliver a decidedly less helpful alternative: hackers supposedly breaking into The Cheesecake Factory and spoiling its refrigerators. This is a comedy bit, not a report of an actual breach.

Hopeless Core edits other creators' material, and this upload credits Instagram account @delamomanny. The contrast between the serene presentation and the petty destruction fits the channel's self-described satire of uplifting hopecore videos. The speaker's objection is considerably more personal than cybersecurity: "Why, bro? I eat there."

The comment section is roughly eight times busier than on a usual first day. Viewers debate why deleting debt wouldn't be straightforward, while others connect the premise to Mr. Robot or recall a Payday 2 mission involving financial records. A throwaway restaurant joke has become a conversation about the fantasy of making the bills disappear.
