Hopeless Core has gone past 1.4 billion views in total, a large figure for a channel that only reached its first thousand subscribers in January 2025. Its own about text says it plainly: it does not make these clips, it edits them, under the banner of "Hopecore Satire," and credits each original creator in the description.

Eight uploads went out over the week, and the one that ran away with it was "He Was Thirsty," credited to @cal_eb831 on Instagram. Going by the comments, the joke is simple: someone jabs a finger straight through a foam cup in another person's hand. It drew close to two and a half million views on its first day. The comment section has turned it into an Invincible bit, with viewers calling the move a Viltrumite technique and saying the cup got "Nolan'd." Others point at the girl in the back who only notices when the cup goes flying, and one viewer gives credit to the grip of the person holding the tea.

The busiest clip on the shelf right now is a little older: "He Had Bro Questioning Everything," ten days old and past eight million views. "I Would've Sold the House" came in behind both.

The channel ran somewhat below its usual pace, yet it still added about 7,000 subscribers, and among the clips channels nearest its size only StompnWorld gathered more views. The about text keeps a milestone list, and the next line on it is 500,000.
