Kieron Richardson Reacts to 20 YEARS of Ste Hay! | Hollyoaks Reacts

Hollyoaks marked an anniversary this week: Kieron Richardson sat down to watch twenty years of Ste Hay, the character he first played in 2006. The description pitches it plainly, "Missing Ste? Here he is," and the clip package runs through some of Ste's biggest and most powerful moments. With about 30,000 views, it is the most watched of the fifteen uploads the official channel put out.

The comments read like a reunion. Many viewers asked for the older episodes to come back in HD, a few hoped Doug would get a mention (Kieron obliged), and others put in requests for the next reaction, with Jennifer Metcalfe and her many Mercedes storylines the popular pick. A fair number simply asked when Ste is coming back.

The rest of the shelf belonged to the current village. Lucas was at the center of it: Leah's tumble, a description asking whether he feels guilty, and Xander declaring he is not protecting him anymore. The newest clip, "Donny Tries to Talk Gemma Down," moved fastest of all, posing the question of whether a police officer can stay impartial when the person under investigation is his own child. Kathleen-Angel's pregnancy news was close behind.

The channel ran a little above its usual pace, with no change in subscribers. Among similar channels, Dancer's Got Talent had by far the biggest week, while EastEnders and Big Brother ran quieter than normal.

Will always remember watching Hollyoaks for the first time because one of my friends who was a few years above me at school mentioned it on MSN and I wanted to basically look cool . I must of been in Year 6 or something because I recall trying to watch it on the sly without my Mum realising… Also, I’ll never forget the Brendan days
