A high-mileage Mercedes estate Matt won't sell, and a Citroen C2 out of the gate fast

Nine uploads from the Manchester dealer ran from a 32,000-mile Range Rover Classic to a Porsche Cayenne bought for under £2k.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Fifteen hours old, and the cheap Citroen C2 was already drawing more viewers per day than anything else on High Peak Autos. Matt's description admits the little French hatch "does have some issues", which, on a channel built around what goes wrong with used cars, is rather the point.

The week's most watched upload, though, is a car he is not trying to flip. "Here's my Super HIGH MILEAGE Mercedes Estate... Why Do I Love It?!" is Matt explaining his own workhorse, and the comments turned into an owners' club. People report their own diesel Mercs past huge distances, one close to a million kilometers, and a running thread argues about whether this era of Mercedes was once blamed for a dip in quality. Another viewer pictures driving a newborn home in a car like it, then teaching the same child to drive in it years later.

The rest of the lot was classic High Peak: a Skoda Octavia vRS estate, a model Matt says has usually done well for him, a Lexus LS600h he puts up against the Mercedes S-Class, a Range Rover Classic showing only 32,000 miles, and another bargain Porsche Cayenne.

All of it pushed the channel past its usual pace, with more than 1.4 million views over the seven days and about a thousand new subscribers. Among car channels near its size, only Royalty Auto Service added more views, while DragTimes and Jimmy Oakes ran slower than normal.
