GUGUGAMER's football parodies take on a bottle-clearing challenge
The clips channel added about 59,000 subscribers over seven days, with a new tabletop game joining its door-knocking comedy.
Why this story? The channel went from 251,000 to 310,000 subscribers this week.
Clearing bottles off a table sounds straightforward. Doing it in the fewest moves is the assignment for the Haaland, Yamal and Mbappé characters in a new parody posted on GUGUGAMER.
The description sets up different approaches to the same task, with simplicity offered as the alternative to elaborate problem-solving. These are football-star parodies, not footage of the players taking a break from training, and GUGUGAMER is the clips channel posting them.
That bottle challenge has passed half a million views before its first full day, alongside a week in which the channel added about 59,000 subscribers, expanding its subscriber count by nearly a quarter.
There is movement beyond the newest upload, too. A door-knocking sketch featuring a mischievous Haaland character is drawing views much faster than its usual daily pace. Its setup has him knocking at Yamal and Vinícius Jr.'s door, running off, then strolling past as though nothing happened before trying Mbappé's door.
The club-choice Short we covered earlier, "Real Madrid or Barcelona?⚽🥳#football #mbappe #lamineyamal", has meanwhile reached roughly 75 million views. Even beside that large total, the channel's newer jokes are keeping their subjects decidedly small: a knock at the door and bottles on a table.
