Pink hearts, bows and new makeup: Glambby's get-ready-with-me shorts fill a pause
Nothing new went up in seven days, yet the beauty channel picked up about 4,000 subscribers and drew close to four million views.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Glambby took the week off from posting, and the channel did not slow down. If anything, it sped up: daily views ran noticeably above their usual level, landing at close to four million over the seven days.
The recent videos doing the most work are the ones the channel is built on, short get-ready-with-me makeup looks, each title wrapped in a pink heart or a bow. The quickest of them right now is an 11-day-old short in which she tries out new makeup products. A "quick and easy makeup look" from five days earlier has gathered more views overall, past 118,000, and is still moving at a similar clip. A second short with nearly the same title, posted the same day, has had a much quieter run. Same bow, same promise, a very different crowd. Perhaps the thumbnail made the difference?
Among beauty, skincare and hair channels of a similar size, Glambby is one of the smaller ones by subscribers but third by views added over the week. milky🥛 had the biggest week in the group by a wide margin, and Lavish Krish also ran above its usual pace. Nyadollie and Maria Aiello had calmer stretches. For a channel with no new upload, Glambby's place near the top of that list says a lot about how far its short makeup routines travel on their own.
