Who gets called 'Continuity Keir'? On GB News, it is Andy Burnham. Patrick Christys' response to the Greater Manchester mayor's speech, which the title says laid out a path to an election, passed 40,000 views within six hours of going up.

A new GB News upload usually gathers a few thousand views across its whole first day. This one was on course for about fifteen times that. It is also the second Christys video in two days to break away from the routine, after his questions about RAF Fairford.

The nickname carries the video. It casts Burnham as more of the same from Keir Starmer, who led Labour into government in 2024, and the title promises that Christys 'tears into' the speech rather than weighs it up. Viewers are answering back: the comments are piling up at roughly half the pace of the likes.
