Magnus the Red, Night Goblins and 'Berry Milk lore' on Battle Report's shelf

The wargaming channel had its busiest day in a while, but its five newest uploads are not the ones drawing the crowd.

Battle Report - Games Night Story of October 9, 2026Trari Newsroom

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 131,922 views a day, 12 times a normal day (11,336).

Battle Report - Games Night is built around big tabletop battles told as stories, and its own about text sets a modest pace: "at least one new public video every month," with extra material for members. Its last two days look different. Five quick uploads went up, each with a one-line description: "New codex," "Magnus the Red," "Goth phase," "New Berry Milk lore" and "Night Goblins in Blood Bowl."

The channel drew about 130,000 views in a single day, more than ten times its usual pace. That one day accounts for most of the week's views. About a thousand new subscribers came in on the same day, which is as many as the whole week shows.

The new posts are not behind it. Each has only a few thousand views, so together they make up a small part of the day. The rest went to something older in the catalog, and it is not clear which battle or which clip set it off.

The new uploads are still fun to look through. Magnus the Red is the one-eyed sorcerer primarch of Warhammer 40,000, and his description simply calls him "so helpful." The goblin video moves to Games Workshop's fantasy football game, and its description asks whether a Blood Bowl battle report is on the way. The tags reach from Warhammer to Bolt Action, the Second World War game.

For a channel whose main work is the long, staged battle, the week's new posts are small pieces: a codex, a primarch and a goblin team.
