Israel Adesanya cheers the Volkanovski stoppage he picked

His couch-side reaction drew roughly ten times FREESTYLEBENDER's usual first-day Shorts audience, as viewers debated Volkanovski's place among MMA's greats.

Izzy reacts to Volk's Win against Movsar 🐐

Israel Adesanya is stretched out on the couch, but he is anything but quiet. "Let's go, Volk," he urges as Alexander Volkanovski closes in on Movsar Evloev. When referee Marc Goddard steps between the fighters, Adesanya claps and cheers.

There is a little extra satisfaction behind this celebration. Before the fight, Adesanya's preview carried the prediction "VOLK BY TKO!" Now his channel has the reaction to the finish he picked, condensed into a Short that drew an estimated 470,000 views in its first day.

The clip keeps the attention on those closing exchanges: Evloev attempts a strike, Volkanovski counters and follows with a swarm of punches, and Adesanya supplies increasingly urgent encouragement. After the stoppage, he declares Volkanovski the best ever.

That verdict is also the main subject in the comments. Viewers make their cases for including Volkanovski in MMA's greatest-of-all-time conversation, while others focus on Adesanya's apparent lack of nerves and the friendship behind his celebration.

For anyone wanting more than the finishing burst, FREESTYLEBENDER also posted a longer UFC 333 reaction covering the card. Its Volkanovski-Evloev segment begins at 5:27, with Adesanya's pre-fight prediction still available in the earlier title-fight breakdown.

The numbers

The Volkanovski reaction reached a much larger first-day audience than FREESTYLEBENDER's usual Shorts. Its comment section was substantially busier, too.
