Atlanta police have not confirmed whether a shooting that struck a teenager inside his home was targeted, FOX 5 Atlanta reports. It is the second shooting involving the boy at the same southeast Atlanta apartment complex.

Reporting from outside police headquarters, Hernan Gutierrez says the teenager was in bed when gunfire struck the building early in the morning. The report also revisits an earlier shooting through archival footage, without establishing a connection between the incidents.

The segment drew roughly 35,000 views in ten hours, a substantially faster start than the station's regular videos usually receive. Its central questions, however, remain unanswered: police have not announced arrests or a motive.

Gutierrez says the station tried to contact apartment management and neighbors, but its crew was instructed to leave the complex. He also reports that the family is no longer staying there because they do not feel safe.
