Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Drake, Don Toliver - Solar Eclipse

Drake posted nothing new this week, but October 26 brings an anniversary worth pulling a familiar video off the shelf for. "Drake - Hotline Bling" arrived on this date in 2015. Eleven years later, it has more than 2.1 billion views and remains the channel's most-watched regular upload.

The freshest momentum belongs elsewhere. "Drake, Don Toliver - Solar Eclipse" remains the channel's most active video, as it was when we reported here earlier this month. It has now passed 5.6 million views. "DRAKE - QUEBEC" follows in daily viewing, with the older "Drake - shabang" also continuing to draw attention.

"Solar Eclipse" moves between a dim club and the less polished surroundings of a touring operation: a private plane, arena corridors and a door marked Friends & Family. The Toronto setting becomes unmistakable at Scotiabank Arena, where Don Toliver joins Drake onstage. Afterward, Toliver and the crew return to just how loud the crowd was. That backstage conversation gives the glossy music video a small concert-documentary afterlife.

Subscriber growth was flat over the week, though Drake's monthly audience has grown. Among the nearby hip-hop channels, Cardi B and Lil Wayne each added subscribers, while Travis Scott's count was unchanged. For Drake, the upload-free stretch leaves room for both the Toronto footage of "Solar Eclipse" and an anniversary visit to "Hotline Bling."
