That pre-show was the biggest new upload in a twenty-upload week, reaching more than 21 million views, almost all of them in its opening day. The comments contain a practical refrain alongside the player endorsements: viewers ask why the livestream ended and request the broadcast's return.

Kane's victory has since supplied its own run of clips, including Ronaldo handing him the award. But the upload carrying the most momentum now is Henry questioning Yamal, rather than the trophy presentation. The post-show and pre-ceremony teaser also drew substantial audiences, making this a week with several entrances into the same football occasion.

Away from the carpet, Carlisle United and Harrogate Town offered a distinctly different attraction: National League highlights billed around a team winning despite two red cards. Formalwear was not required for everything on the channel.

DAZN Football added roughly 230,000 subscribers over the week, accounting for nearly all its subscriber growth over the past month. Daily viewing has now eased below its usual level, but the week's total was substantial. Among nearby football channels, CBS Sports Golazo also had a particularly busy viewing week; DAZN Football's subscriber increase was the largest of this group.
