Clips of RJ Mitte signing autographs and discussing Breaking Bad are archival, not evidence of the death announced in The Mirror's upload. The video presents a false report of the actor's death alongside interviews and red-carpet appearances from earlier years.
That distinction matters here. The title says Bryan Cranston leads tributes, but the supposed tribute appears in captions over footage of Mitte with his co-stars. It is not a new interview in which Cranston delivers those words.
The upload reached more than 170,000 views in its first 17 hours, far beyond the channel's usual opening-day audience for regular videos.
Much of what viewers actually see is Mitte speaking about his work and the opportunities to reconnect with colleagues. In a red-carpet interview, he says: "These events and these get-togethers are the only time people actually can come together and you can see people."
The compilation later reaches the 2013 AFI Awards, where Mitte discusses favorite Breaking Bad episodes and praises Vince Gilligan and the show's writers. Those are reflections on making the series, not confirmation of the report wrapped around them.
