The comments quickly found a second link: the setting. Several of the most liked notes point out that both moments came at Wembley, one viewer adds that it was the same corner, and another reminds everyone that Chiesa's came against England. Others push back on the comparison, noting that Chiesa was playing in a Euros while Yamal's moment came in the Nations League. Chiesa's run at Euro 2020, the tournament Italy won at Wembley, is the backdrop most of them have in mind. A few viewers just want to know how the edits are made so sharp.
The short has passed 420,000 views in four days, but it is not the channel's busiest video. That is still "Saddest Night For Barca Fans 🥺💔", fifteen days old, past eight million views and gathering more each day than the Yamal short. Barcelona, it seems, is the team that keeps this page going.
The channel drew well above its usual daily pace and added about 3,000 subscribers, which leaves it some 23,000 short of the million its about page names as the goal. Among similar football channels it sits fourth of nine for views gained, in a week when GOAL's Front Three and Fooftly were far ahead and Everton's club channel was quiet.
