Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

POV: You see a tunnel in Ace Combat

Give an Ace Combat pilot a tunnel, and viewers apparently know what comes next. Beneath "POV: You see a tunnel in Ace Combat," the conversation centers on the urge to fly through it, with one viewer comparing pilots to cats confronted with an empty box.

The clip was CoxClips' most watched new upload, reaching about 155,000 views. This is the channel for clips, highlights and stream recordings from Jesse Cox that aren't featured on his main channel. Here, commenters particularly point to the game's dialogue acknowledging the tunnel flight, while others mention the Halo music accompanying the moment.

A longer outing, "Rise Above the Skies! | Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve (part 1)," offered more aerial action. Elsewhere, "Building An Army of Dudes! | How Many Dudes? The Roguelike Autobattler" traded aircraft for recruiting an army to tackle deliberately ridiculous opponents. The Warhammer upload featured Jesse playing Nagash and was sponsored by Creative Assembly.

The channel added roughly 814,000 views over the week, while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is close to its usual level. Among nearby stream and highlights channels, Clip Building had a particularly large weekly view gain; Peter Park had a smaller week of viewing.

But the biggest source of momentum on CoxClips isn't the tunnel. "Jesse's Witcher IV Quest Pitch," posted just before this upload week, is currently drawing the most daily views. "How it FEELS to watch a Dynasty Warriors recap" is also moving quickly, with animation credited to Daniel Tan.

What viewers say

I love how the game knows the players would do this so much so it added audio about the players going through the tunnel. XD
