Saw III brings cinema memories to Chris Stuckmann's horror marathon
Seven reviews range from Jennifer Tilly's Bride of Chucky to Brittany Murphy's Cherry Falls.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Saw III - Movie Review
The sequels have company. Chris Stuckmann's run of horror reviews also makes room for Identity and The Glass House, giving a week full of familiar monsters a couple of more human-sized mysteries.
That's a considerable change from the single Primetime review in our previous note. Seven uploads arrived this time, with "Saw III - Movie Review" drawing the largest audience so far, roughly 86,000 views. Darren Lynn Bousman's sequel brings back Tobin Bell's Jigsaw and Shawnee Smith's Amanda, with Angus Macfadyen and Bahar Soomekh caught in its machinery.
The comments turn that review into a small scrapbook of moviegoing. Viewers remember walking from school to the cinema, seeing the sequels arrive year after year, and making the next Saw an annual outing with a friend. Others pick up on Stuckmann's appreciation for Saw VI or compare their own preferred installments. A franchise this long practically invites everyone to bring a different ranking.
Elsewhere, "Identity - Movie Review" revisits James Mangold's rain-soaked motel thriller with John Cusack, Ray Liotta and Amanda Peet. "Bride of Chucky - Movie Review" supplies Jennifer Tilly and Brad Dourif's much less conventional screen partnership.
Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing is running above its usual level. Among nearby commentary channels, Jeremy Jahns and Variety had substantially larger weekly view gains; MovieFlame's week was almost identical in size to Stuckmann's.
The freshest activity belongs to "Cherry Falls - Movie Review," featuring Brittany Murphy, Jay Mohr and Michael Biehn. It's currently drawing the most daily views on the channel, followed by "Jeepers Creepers 2 - Movie Review" and "Friday the 13th: Part 2 - Movie Review": plenty of room here for horror beyond Jigsaw.

I remember as a kid in the mid 2000s and late 2000s they came out with a Saw movie almost every year until I graduated high school.

@jdg20042001See it on YouTubeFinished class in grade 11, walked to the cinema and watched this alone; good times.
@Abcdee8See it on YouTubeI need to rewatch the whole series.
I watched Saw on my friend’s PC back in high school and it was so cool that I went to see Saw II in theatre on premiere night next year. Then I watched Saw 3 a year later and it become my tradition to go and see new Saw with my friend every Halloween. I think we stopped at Saw 6.@TheSiemekSee it on YouTubeThis is basically where the franchise solidified for me. The nailed the formula and still had a good story with a twist.
@TubeSteakSee it on YouTubeThis is my favorite Saw of the whole franchise
