"India vs USA Snacks" is the newest upload on Chef Nick's channel, and the title does the explaining: snacks from two countries, set side by side. Fifteen hours after it went up, it was already close to 900,000 views and pulling in more each day than the rest of the channel's recent videos put together.

It closes a three-video week. "Giant Snacks" opened it on September 23 and has passed three million, the biggest total of the batch. "Rock Candy" followed two days later and had a lively first day before settling into a gentler rhythm, now moving at about the same pace as the giant snacks.

The channel as a whole ran quieter than usual, drawing noticeably fewer daily views than it typically does, though new subscribers kept arriving at a healthy clip. Among the cooking and food channels, The Plant Slant was the one running above its normal pace, while Fallow, Shef_Phoenix and Ian Fujimoto had softer spells too. Chef Nick sits in the middle of that group by subscribers, and the snack comparison is the part of his week still gathering speed.
