Enduro upgrade questions and a home-built tool on Chase the Summit
Two new uploads pair Garmin hardware scrutiny with CTS ActivityLab, a GPS-watch comparison app for Apple devices.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
Garmin Enduro 4 Review: What's ACTUALLY New?
A new watch doesn't necessarily mean an old one needs replacing. Beneath Chase the Summit's "Garmin Enduro 4 Review: What's ACTUALLY New?", several viewers say they're keeping their Enduro 3, while others discuss moving from older watches or choosing Garmin for the first time.
The review was the bigger draw of the channel's two uploads, reaching about 37,000 views. Its chapters cover the practical details that make a watch a daily companion: buttons, flashlight, band, display, mapping, battery life and accuracy. Viewers have their own priorities, too, with requests for a slimmer model and a discussion about removing the older nylon bands.
The other upload puts the reviewer on the building side of running technology. "I Built the GPS Watch Comparison Tool I Always Wanted - Meet CTS ActivityLab!" introduces his comparison app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. The video's search tags point to GPS and heart-rate accuracy testing and analysis of activity files, an extension of the gear-comparison work rather than another piece of hardware to review.
The Enduro review is also the channel's strongest daily draw right now. Older comparisons of screenless fitness trackers and Apple Watch readiness scores remain active alongside it, keeping the emphasis on what different devices actually offer.
Subscribers were unchanged over the week, while the library added roughly 434,000 views. Daily viewing is currently below its usual pace. Among nearby gadget channels, ZTT Extras and cmcteq had much larger viewing weeks; LGR Blerbs and The Retro Collective were quieter. For Chase the Summit, the distinctive addition is ActivityLab: a week spent both comparing the tools and introducing one of its own.

Sticking with my Enduro 3 thanks for the review!
@fr0ssenSee it on YouTubeIf they made a fenix or endro “slim” i would buy it. Something like a 570 mixed with a fenix
@Jay-sd9yeSee it on YouTube8:24 I don't think you need to remove the pins to remove the older style nylon bands, you pull them under the pins. It's tight but works

@Jesper1988See it on YouTubeI’m getting a enduro 4 since I’m new to Garmin
@stilos4321See it on YouTubeKinda silly request, but could you post a pic how E3 looks with the olive band? I'm considering getting it, but have a hard time between choosing this one or black one.
@Amadeusz90See it on YouTubeI've owned the Enduro 3 from the release. Loved it so much, I placed an order on this new 4. Simply because I love the look with the lighter colors. The new raw titanium look looks great. And sold the 3 "cheap" so someone else can enjoy it.
