Casually Explained's tech billionaires video outpaces four Cyclist™ sketches
A whole week spent on one character, and the 18-day-old essay still draws several times more views a day than any of them.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The Cyclist™ will do anything for success
Eighteen days old, "The real problem with tech billionaires" is still the busiest thing on Casually Explained. It has passed half a million views and is pulling several times the daily pace of anything newer.
The new material came as a set. Four uploads, all built around one figure: "The Cyclist™ will do anything for success," "The Cyclist™ Checklist," "How to become a Cyclist™" and "The Cyclist™'s Wife." The first one holds the biggest total so far. But it is the last one, posted Wednesday, that is moving fastest now. The Checklist, meanwhile, has nearly gone quiet.
Climbing is still in the mix too. The 13-day-old "How to flex on climbing scrubs" is running almost level with the Wife on daily pace.
The channel as a whole is moving at exactly its usual rhythm. Among animation channels it sits sixth of nine by subscribers, a long way behind the enormous daily pace of His Story, ElliotSimms and Her Story, and not far from TerminalMontage.
