A corn-maze scarecrow gets told he's not on staff

CamsBanter's fast-starting prank clip includes a farm worker's objection that complicates the argument over whether the scare was illegal.

Karen Thinks It's Illegal😂

The scarecrow can move, but he doesn't work here. That is the practical problem at the center of a corn-maze prank posted by clips channel CamsBanter, where a costumed prankster's surprise lunges bring an intervention from farm staff.

The Short has drawn roughly 960,000 views in 12 hours, a much faster start than the channel's usual Shorts. CamsBanter is sharing the prank footage, not necessarily making or performing it.

After the scarecrow jumps out at visitors, a worker in an orange shirt explains the boundary: "I know you're not part of the farm. You can't be scaring people." The prankster asks whether someone complained, then gets up to leave the cornfield.

Outside the maze, another visitor threatens to call police and says the prank is illegal. The clip doesn't establish that legal conclusion, despite the accusation providing its title's hook.

Viewers debate whether scares should be expected in a corn maze, but some focus on the distinction the worker makes: a visitor in costume isn't the same thing as an authorized performer.
