Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Spending a week in Europe

Calling Milan quiet is tempting fate, at least in the moment viewers keep pointing out beneath Claire Drake's new travel diary. Several motorbikes, followed by a truck, provide the interruption they remember.

"Spending a week in Europe" is Claire's only new upload, described as a little diary of her first European trip. It has reached about 169,000 views, and the replies give the vacation its own comic itinerary: a search for Twilight at the London School of Economics library, Hamzah's hotel choice and that ill-timed observation about Milan. One viewer jokingly asks why they weren't brought along.

The new diary is comfortably the busiest video on her channel right now. "A day In the south of France," posted two weeks earlier, continues drawing viewers as it approaches half a million views. Further back, "Thrifting Challenge with my Friend," featuring Mandy, supplies a non-vacation catch-up option.

Claire added about 2,000 subscribers over the week, even though her current daily channel viewing is below its usual pace. The travel videos give this week's activity a distinct destination: France has its own day out, and the wider European diary leaves room for the interruptions between the pretty views.
