Where did Benny Johnson's busy upload week wander beyond Washington? Into rock concerts, with a video framing Mötley Crüe and Metallica performances through his familiar culture-war lens. It was the second-most-watched of his new uploads, a musical detour amid a lineup dominated by political commentary.
The largest new audience went to Johnson's video asserting that federal authorities would strip Ilhan Omar's citizenship and deport her after seizing assets. It drew more than half a million views. Those are Johnson's assertions, not established legal outcomes. Other uploads continued his Omar coverage, while Jimmy Kimmel, The View and Kamala Harris supplied further subjects for commentary.
The freshest political videos also carry the most momentum. A CNN-focused upload about Christian Texans and a Democratic Senate candidate is currently drawing the most daily views, followed by two Omar-focused posts.
Across the channel, the week brought about 28 million views, while subscribers held steady. That was a larger weekly viewing total than most nearby political-commentary peers, though MeidasTouch had a substantially bigger week. Johnson's daily viewing has since dropped well below its usual level, a quieter finish to a crowded upload schedule.
