Anne Robinson's reasonably priced lap returns with Top Gear's 2003 Porsche 911
A full 2003 episode, with Clarkson on the 911 and James May in a Triumph TR6, joined otters and black holes in a three-upload week.
Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
How Good Is The Porsche 911? | Full Episode | Top Gear Classic | BBC Studios
BBC Studios has passed 2.4 billion lifetime views, and its freshest contribution to that pile is more than two decades old. "How Good Is The Porsche 911? | Full Episode | Top Gear Classic | BBC Studios" is the fifth episode of the second series, first shown in June 2003: Jeremy Clarkson picks apart the 911, James May drives a Triumph TR6, a Renault Clio V6 gets pushed hard, and Anne Robinson, long the steely host of The Weakest Link, takes the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car slot. Two days in, it is the busiest video on the channel.
The other two uploads came from the BBC Earth side of the house. "Into The Lives Of Otters" follows cubs learning to swim and to hunt, and it is moving at about the same clip as a month-old tour of reptiles and amphibians, "The Secret Lives Of Cold-Blooded Animals." The black hole explainer has had a gentler start.
Subscribers held level over the stretch. Among TV networks and streaming services, BBC Studios sits second by subscriber count, just behind 60 Minutes, while Peacock and the Oscars run the busiest channels in the group by usual daily views.
