Artistomg loads a night-sky palette onto a single brush
Magenta and blue become rippled gradients in a fast-starting Short, while Gaspi's rotating neon artwork passes a million views.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 204,917 views a day, 5.9 times a normal first day on this channel (34,509).
Painting with Just One Big Brush Using 5 Satisfying Night Sky Colors! 😍✨🌌 #visualart
The little brush does the preparation; the big brush gets the reveal. Gaspi, the artist behind Artistomg, paints separate stripes of magenta and blue directly onto a broad flat brush, then puts that loaded brush to work.
One wavy swipe leaves a rippled gradient on a small white surface. A straight pass across another produces a smooth multicolored band. Despite the night-sky title, this isn't a landscape painting: the colors and the marks themselves are the subject, with no spoken instructions interrupting the demonstration.
The Short drew roughly 205,000 views in its first day, nearly six times Artistomg's usual Shorts start. One viewer has already proposed a warmer follow-up palette, moving from yellow through orange, red, pink and violet.
There's another milestone alongside the brush experiment. Gaspi's rotating neon artwork has passed a million views. Made with paint markers on separate pieces of black paper, it reconnects glowing-looking lines into different designs as the pieces turn. Where the brush video changes the pattern through a hand movement, that earlier piece changes it by rearranging the drawing itself.
