POV: “you’re a few cents short” 😭💸 📍 Chandler • Mesa • Phoenix • San Tan Valle
Being short at the register usually means putting something back. In Antojitos LindaMar's comedy sketch, the cashier has another solution: eat enough of the customer's order to make the price fit.
The customer has ordered two large drinks loaded with snacks and candy, but her cash falls twenty dollars short. The cashier accepts it anyway, then starts eating fruit and candy skewers straight off the drinks. Across the counter, the customer waits in awkward silence.
This is a staged joke from the Arizona snack shop, not footage of an actual customer transaction. Its caption calls the shortage "a few cents," which considerably understates the problem. The Short has reached roughly 450,000 views in 37 hours, a much faster start than the channel usually gets.
The comments turn the cashier's solution into a little exercise in value for money: one viewer reckons the missing bites are a fair exchange for the discount. Another singles out her fingernail tapping at the checkout screen, while someone else simply wants to know what the elaborate drinks are called.
As we reported here, LindaMar previously made a pricing joke out of a discount with an embarrassing condition. This time, the deduction comes directly off the top of the order.
