A circle isn't enough. James is trying to communicate zero, but Bombanana's clock-wheel emote has no zero option, leaving his teammates to interpret a character spinning around.

That is the wonderfully specific obstacle in Animators VS Games' only new upload this week, "WE HATE EACH OTHER NOW | Bombanana (Feat. TheOdd1sOut & Skip The Tutorial)." The title is gameplay banter, not an announcement of a falling-out. DJ Welch joins James, better known as TheOdd1sOut, and Aidan from Skip The Tutorial for bomb-defusal puzzles where the roles, and communication restrictions, keep changing.

Aidan starts without knowing the mechanics. Later, even pointing up and down requires figuring out the emotes. James offers perhaps the episode's neatest explanation of its peculiar frustrations: "When I'm mute, I scream. I think it's because I know you guys will never hear me."

The upload has reached roughly 45,000 views and is the channel's busiest video right now. Viewers are discussing the circle-versus-zero confusion, the muted shouting and the pleasure of seeing James and Aidan collaborate. Several also mention being accustomed to Aidan appearing as a puppet in facecam.

Across the channel, subscribers held steady while daily views are running somewhat below their usual level. Among nearby animation channels, SmashBits Animations had a busier week with subscriber growth; Aphmau Diaries also held steady on subscribers.

Behind Bombanana, "The Machine - Animator vs. Animation 13 | AvG Reacts" continues drawing views toward a million, while "We Became UNSTOPPABLE In Minecraft Dungeons II" remains another active stop in the gaming catalog.
