Allen Pan teases a one-punch gauntlet

A brief preview of his promised build arrives alongside a sharply busier day for the inventor's channel.

Why this story? The whole channel is running at 534,728 views a day, 13 times a normal day (42,108).

Allen Pan has put a name to his next promised contraption, without giving it the full-video treatment yet. "One Punch Gauntlet Teaser," posted October 8, offers a compact announcement: the gauntlet is coming soon.

The preview accompanies an unusually busy stretch for his channel, which added more than half a million views in a day, roughly thirteen times its usual daily pace. That is a channel-wide jump, not a tally for the teaser alone, so it cannot all be credited to the new upload.

Still, the gauntlet gives viewers a fresh project to anticipate after a summer of titles that sound like deliberately unreasonable engineering assignments: "weaponized shopping cart," "water stun gun" and "turning chickens back into dinosaurs."

Pan's channel description calls him a "Failed Mythbuster." His upload shelf makes the joke more specific: before promising a one-punch gauntlet, he posted "I gave snakes there legs back."
