Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

I built a glove that Explodes whatever it Punches

The teaser has its follow-through. After introducing his one-punch gauntlet earlier this month, Allen Pan has released "I built a glove that Explodes whatever it Punches," bringing the contraption into a full-length build video.

It reached roughly 390,000 views in its opening 30 hours and is the channel's fastest-moving upload right now. The video is sponsored by Chime. Pan's description also credits @tommyschaos, TheBackyardScientist and Mike Shake for their contributions to the project.

Viewers have promptly supplied a fictional equipment catalog for comparison: Fallout's Power Fist, Ultrakill's Knuckleblaster and the inevitable One Punch Man reference. Another commenter proposes an extra device to reproduce anime characters' habit of sliding down grassy slopes without walking. Apparently, an explosive glove leaves room for further questions of accuracy.

That mix of pop-culture premise and physical invention has deep roots here. Pan's electromagnet-and-fingerprint-scanner take on Thor's hammer remains among his most-watched regular videos. The gauntlet's own teaser continues drawing views too, while "giving chickens there tails back." is the other older upload carrying notable momentum.

Across the channel, daily viewing is below its usual pace, but the week nevertheless brought about 10,000 additional subscribers. Its weekly view gain was close to those of TheSorryGirls and Drew Builds Stuff, while ForgeCore had a much larger week. For Pan, the concrete change is on the workbench: the promised gauntlet now has its full video.
