Ronaldo's last World Cup question fills A7 EDITZ's week

Three of the four uploads circle Cristiano Ronaldo's international future, with a Manchester City worry slipped in between.

Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.

Ten hours online, and "Ronaldo's International Retirement Is Getting Closer" had already passed a third of a million views. It is the newest of A7 EDITZ's four uploads and by some distance the quickest, gathering views at a pace no other video on the clips channel matches right now.

It also makes the week read like a small series. Five days earlier came "Ronaldo Wants One More World Cup", now the most watched of the four at around 700,000 views, and before that "The Year Ronaldo Left Everyone Trophyless". The Portugal captain, whose international career already includes the Euro 2016 title and the 2019 Nations League, is the thread through almost everything posted. The one detour, "Manchester City is in big trouble", had a solid first day and has since eased off.

An older edit still hums in the background: "The Toughest Move in The History of Sports", two weeks old, has passed 1.6 million views and keeps adding more. Subscribers held steady this week.

Among the football channels around it, most ran below their usual pace, The United Stand, Sky Sports News and AFTV included, while FutVibes and The Overlap kept drawing big daily crowds even on a softer stretch.
