The push broom is a substantial career upgrade. Ryan starts Playrooms collecting scattered balls by hand, earning money to return them to their pits. Before long, he's investing in carrying capacity, magnets and vacuum collection. Then a puppet-like creature emerges from a ball pit, interrupting the productivity drive.
That mixture of satisfying chores and reasons to abandon them brought the largest audience of 8-BitRyan's five uploads this week: roughly a quarter of a million views for "A horror game where I have to clean up all the balls before the lights go off or else.." His office offers somewhere to retreat when the lights begin shutting down. The broom, meanwhile, lets him herd whole clumps towards a suction vent. "I think sweeping is my favorite thing to do, actually," he says.
Among the comments, viewers point out that he opens the anomaly-reporting app without actually reporting anything, and ask whether he'll return for the full game. There is something particularly Ryan about finding an absorbing upgrade loop inside a place he ought to escape.
Elsewhere, Five Nights At Frickbear's 3 supplied its Four Layers Down mode, with new animatronics and a different way to play. Plushy's Playground: Into the slide brought an analogue-horror series he'd enjoyed reacting to into playable form. Echoes of Darkness earned the admirably economical title "Nope."
The newest outing, "Terrible Lizards. (FULL GAME)", pairs parkour with an investigation of an old dinosaur attraction. It reached about 95,000 views in ten hours and currently carries the most momentum, followed by "Nope." and Frickbears.
Subscribers held steady, while daily viewing sits modestly above Ryan's usual level. Nearby variety-gaming channels SpyCakes and FusionZGamer are also drawing above-usual daily audiences; Camodo Gaming is a little quieter than normal. For Ryan, the week's distinctive discovery wasn't another monster, but how much he could enjoy sweeping up after one.
