Viva La Dirt League's GTA 6 plan protects the bonuses

A fictional studio's emergency meeting turns release-date anxiety into corporate satire, with Abby left questioning both the plan and the grammar.

Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 869,765 views a day, 9.4 times a normal first day on this channel (92,364).

Don't panic, be prepared.Don't panic, be prepared.

What exactly does it mean for GTA 6 to last six months? Abby would like someone at the conference table to explain. Her colleagues at Arcticstorm Studios seem to regard the question itself as missing the point.

Viva La Dirt League's "Don't panic, be prepared." is a staged boardroom sketch about a game studio preparing for GTA 6 by gradually abandoning its own business. The Short has passed a million views, while its first-day comment section was roughly seventeen times busier than usual.

Clint arrives with an emergency chart. First, the studio will stop releasing games. Then come staff cuts, justified with a wonderfully unguarded admission: "This is the only way that we can ensure our insane, insane director bonuses."

That line is a recurring subject in the comments, alongside jokes that the executives' response might actually be optimistic. Other viewers pick up on the unusual sight of these colleagues supporting one another so earnestly through a crisis of their own imagining.

Abby keeps trying to bring the meeting back to something resembling sense. When she questions the wording of the plan, Clint explains that GTA 6 is also a verb. The others treat it as an emotion, a threat and an explanation requiring no further explanation.

The same release anxiety also supplies the premise of the group's recent upload "GTA VI changes everything!" Here, though, the emergency chart makes the priorities particularly plain: even Skycraft's servers are expendable when the bonuses need saving.
