Ranking UFO Videos From Fake to 'They're Literally Here'...

On a typical day, the whole Top5s back catalog brings in somewhere around 107,000 views. The newest upload, "I've Researched 9/11 For 15 Years. This Doesn't Add Up...", is a day old and already pulling close to a third of that by itself. It is a sequel of sorts. Its predecessor, "These Things Still Don't Add Up...", went up eight days ago, sits near 380,000 views and remains the channel's second-busiest video. Both are framed as the narrator's questions about the attacks after years of reading, and the earlier one's description begins with Mohamed Atta's flights in and out of Boston.

In between came a documentary on Peter Sutcliffe, the Yorkshire Ripper. Written and researched by Amanda Winters, it focuses less on the man than on how he was interviewed nine times by West Yorkshire Police and still went uncaught for years. One chapter covers Wearside Jack, the hoax letters and tape that sent that investigation the wrong way. The week opened more lightly, with a ranking of UFO footage that runs from a Haiti and Dominican Republic sighting to the Mosul Orb.

Among the channels here that trade in stories and mysteries, Top5s ranks third by subscribers, just behind Andy Jiang, whose week is running well above its usual pace. SCP Explained is also busier than normal. For Top5s, the story is the same one twice: a second 9/11 video, already outrunning the first.
