The FBI Got Hacked BAD

On a usual day, ThioJoe's whole catalog draws somewhere in the neighborhood of eighty-five thousand views. His FBI video matched that on its first day alone. "The FBI Got Hacked BAD" walks through a breach that the hackers say reached the personal details of every employee and applicant, along with terabytes from the bureau's cloud storage. The twist he spends a chapter on is the demand. No money, only the removal of a report the group says contains false allegations. It has slowed since that opening, as news videos do, but it is still the busiest thing on the channel.

The week's other upload was an essay, "Why Ai Will NEVER Replace Everyone," which pushes back on the prompt-engineer myth using a Windows API example. It is moving more gently. A 45-day-old video about Apple's threat notification, the kind nobody wants on their phone, still sits between the two in daily pace.

Security scares, then, from both the FBI and Apple. It fits a channel whose about text says it gave up joke tutorials in 2017 for real tech explainers. Among the tech review channels around his size, he ranks fifth of nine by subscribers, while CarterPCs is running well above its usual daily pace.
