A carrot keeps its course in The Smily Fam's tabletop challenge
The food-costume Short drew about 1.6 million first-day views, while the comments filled with support for the fiery Cheetos contestant.
Why this story? The video opened at a pace of 1,640,085 views a day, 44 times a normal first day on this channel (37,726).

Four flattened toy balls slide down a table together. Then they start springing open, turning a simple aiming game into something less predictable for The Smily Fam's food-costumed players.
The contestant dressed as a carrot gets the straight roll: his ball holds its course and drops through the target hole. French fries, a pizza slice and a Flamin' Hot Cheetos costume complete the lineup. There is no spoken dialogue, just music, sound effects and the group's reaction to the successful shot.
The Short drew roughly forty times the channel's usual first-day views for the format. It is another outing for the food-costume and pop-up-ball combination, rather than a new challenge premise, but this upload has also produced an unusually busy comment section.
Much of that conversation is really a roll call. Viewers repeatedly declare themselves on the fire contestant's team, with some naming Cheetos directly, rather than discussing the carrot's finish.
Other Smily Fam games are moving briskly too: "Pop Tic Tac Toe! Girls vs Boys" and "Last One Standing Wins!" both opened well above the channel's usual pace for Shorts.
