Story of Why this story? The channel's weekly summary: what went up this week, what is drawing views now, and where the channel stands among similar channels.
The Circus Clown Who Became a World Champion
Among the combat sports channels nearest its size, TheFightGuy gathered the most views over the past seven days, close to 30 million, ahead even of Nansend Sports, the other heavy hitter in the group. It is a clips channel that tells fight history in short, punchy stories, and its about text keeps things simple: a hello, and not much more.
Three new stories went up. The first, "When a 6'5" Giant Tried to Fight Mike Tyson," has passed 1.4 million views, and its comment section is mostly about endurance. The most liked remark marvels that the big man lasted ten rounds against a prime Tyson and was still on his feet, while others credit the referee and joke about a trainer who was wise to keep his distance. One viewer singles out the sound effects.
The second, "The Circus Clown Who Became a World Champion," opened quietly, then caught fire: four days in, it is drawing views far faster than the Tyson story, and it already sits just behind it in total. The title does not name its champion, and part of the fun is clicking to find out. The third, "The Night the Undisputed King Fell," arrived only hours ago and is off to a brisk start.
None of them is the channel's busiest video, though. That remains "She Thought She Could Beat Men in MMA," posted 38 days ago and now past 30 million views, still pulling more each day than any of the new uploads. About 20,000 people subscribed along the way.
