A Tesla's cameras become evidence on The Civil Rights Lawyer

The car had cameras. That detail becomes central to Kevin Finley's story in The Civil Rights Lawyer's only new upload, "Tesla Saves Owner From Prison," which has approached three million views.

As John H. Bryan recounts it, Finley had returned home when he heard what sounded like police outside his closing garage. He reopened it and encountered an officer pointing a gun and shouting commands. Handcuffed at gunpoint, Finley learned he was accused of fleeing an attempted traffic stop, a felony. Then he remembered the Tesla's cameras: there could be a recording of the drive at the center of the accusation.

The upload puts a concrete evidence question inside Bryan's familiar constitutional-law territory: what can a car's recording establish about an encounter? Viewers' discussion centers on courtroom testimony, the weight given to video evidence and what accountability should follow when the two conflict.

Across the channel, weekly viewing topped ten million, close to 48 Hours' substantial week, while Ugo Lord drew a much larger audience. Bryan's subscriber count grew, although daily viewing is currently below its usual pace.

The Tesla story is now the channel's busiest upload by a wide margin. The internal-affairs follow-up to Amanda Prince's drug-case acquittal, which we covered previously, also continues drawing viewers, alongside Bryan's update on Natasha Lopez's arrest and planned civil-rights lawsuit.
