Zizou Bergs' Alcaraz upset anchors Tennis TV's Shanghai week

The ATP channel pairs individual match highlights with daily roundups featuring Fritz, Ruud, Bublik and de Minaur.

Tennis TV packed fifteen uploads into its Shanghai week, offering both the quick route to a headline match and the broader tournament catch-up. The most watched new video features Zizou Bergs defeating Carlos Alcaraz, a result the channel bills as the Belgian's biggest career win. It has reached roughly 610,000 views.

Alcaraz brings the reputation of a Wimbledon and US Open champion to that matchup, but the comments give Bergs' tennis plenty of space. Viewers single out his attacking returns and serving, especially the final ace. Others discuss Alcaraz's congratulatory exchange at the net, a small post-match detail alongside the upset itself.

The accompanying day-six roundup widens the picture: Stefanos Tsitsipas faces Taylor Fritz, Learner Tien meets Casper Ruud, and defending champion Valentin Vacherot plays Tommy Paul. That compilation is the week's next most watched upload, making the same day's action available in two useful shapes.

The freshest momentum belongs to Alexander Zverev's match with Alexander Bublik and the day-seven roundup, which also includes Hubert Hurkacz against Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Alex de Minaur against Karen Khachanov. Both are drawing views faster right now than the Bergs-Alcaraz highlights. The short clip titled "An INSANE Ending 😳‼️" is also among the channel's most active videos, though its title leaves the players unnamed.

With about 2.2 million subscribers, Tennis TV sits between Wimbledon and World Rugby in audience size. For viewers catching up on Shanghai, its daily roundups preserve the matches beyond the headline upset, including Fils against Van de Zandschulp at the end of day six.

  • The surface is too fast, Bergs was serving crazy and also the first serve returns were fire, super solid from the base line always attacking and not giving Carlos chance to breathe.
To beat Carlos you have to be super aggressive and make him doubt his own game, serve solid and return as well.
