VISA SHOCK! Meghan Markle HORROR As Harry Faces US Ban | What Just Happened? Kevin O'SullivanVISA SHOCK! Meghan Markle HORROR As Harry Faces US Ban | What Just Happened? Kevin O'Sullivan

What Just Happened? is TalkTV's weekly look back at the royal news, and this edition put Prince Harry's American visa at the top of the bill. Kevin O'Sullivan hosts, joined by Amanda Devlin, Ash Gould and the American royal commentator Kinsey Schofield. The description adds a small housekeeping note: regular Samara Gill is on vacation and back next week.

The title is loud even by this channel's standards, with 'VISA SHOCK!', 'HORROR' and a ban it says Harry faces. The description is calmer. It says his US visa records are under legal and public scrutiny after he wrote about past drug use in Spare, his 2023 memoir.

Nineteen hours after it went up, the video had passed 349,000 views, where a new TalkTV video usually ends its whole first day a little above 20,000. The comment section moved even faster than the views. Much of the talk there is less about the visa than about the wider family: whether the couple's royal titles should be taken away, who pays for their security, and how William and Catherine spent the same week.

It is the second time in a week that the Sussexes have given the channel its fastest start, as we reported here. They were not Saturday's only royal story, either. A segment with royal biographer Angela Levin, about a copy of Meghan's children's book The Bench listed online for almost £20,000 with an apparent handwritten dedication to Princess Eugenie, drew only a small share of that audience. Among the day's news clips, the Manchester City verdict and the questions it raised for Prime Minister Andy Burnham went furthest, and still stayed far behind O'Sullivan's panel.
