Australia Champions chose to bat at Sharjah, but their opening pair barely had time to settle. D'Arcy Short was caught by Jermaine Blackwood, David Warner was bowled, and Sheldon Cottrell had his soldier's salute out before the opening over was finished.

Both openers departed without scoring in the World Championship of Legends semifinal against West Indies Champions. Sports Central by DRM's broadcast brought that abrupt start to nearly 300,000 views in eight hours, far ahead of the clips channel's usual pace for long videos and streams.

Ben Dunk offered a response, hitting Cottrell for a six and then cutting him for a boundary. But the bowler had the next word: an lbw decision sent Dunk back too, giving Cottrell his third wicket. Callum Ferguson arrived with Australia's innings already in trouble.

The full-match highlights and a separate second-innings package also drew much stronger starts than the channel's usual regular uploads. The broadcast attracted the largest audience of those versions, giving viewers the buildup as well as the wickets: Warner's career statistics, the stadium countdown, then Cottrell turning the opening exchanges into a procession of celebrations.
