A GAZ-71, a ZIL and two Ladas fill Sonya Temnikova's wordless garage
Eight short uploads went up in seven days, and a twelve-day-old Lada Niva clip is pulling almost as many daily views as the newest one.

Софья Темникова, or Sonya Temnikova, as her handle spells it, runs a channel that sums itself up in a promise: no words, just cars and emotions. Her week held to it. Eight short uploads went up, and most of their titles pair a machine with the word "technology": a BMW, a ZIL, a GAZ 71. That last one is the Soviet tracked transporter built for snow and swamp, which is not the usual co-star of a car short.
The newest, "Lada and ghost," is less than a day old and already past 100,000 views, gathering them faster than anything else on the channel. Close behind sits "Lada Niva technology," twelve days old, past 400,000 and still drawing nearly the same daily crowd. Two Ladas at the front, then. Perhaps the old Niva has a fan base that keeps passing it around?
The BMW short was the week's most watched upload, and under it one viewer turned to something practical: how easily a key fob's signal can be copied with an amplifier nearby.
All of it added up to close to 17 million views in seven days, a little above the channel's usual pace, along with 10,000 new subscribers. Among the car channels near her size, only Exotic Rubber gained more views this week. Rob Dahm and ThatDudeinBlue are running far above their own usual levels, while Saabkyle04 is keeping a steady line.
