Where does the Rawalpindi Express go when he is not talking cricket? Lately, to the mountains. Shoaib Akhtar posted nothing new this week, and the channel ran on a trip north instead.

"Gilgit-Baltistan is Love" is the video doing most of the work. Posted 25 days ago, it follows him through the valleys and roads around Skardu, and its description casts it as a break from the usual hustle. It is now past half a million views and still gathering more each day than anything else he has. Its sequel, "Action in Skardu," swaps the scenery for off-roading and camping and moves at a gentler pace.

Cricket is in the mix too. His Dubai vlog from the ILT20 puts two famous fast bowlers side by side, with Akhtar meeting Brett Lee behind the scenes. The pair spent years as the quickest men in the game, and at ten days old that video runs almost level with the second Skardu episode.

The subscriber count held still this week. Among the other sports channels, Bryson DeChambeau is having a busy stretch, running above his usual daily views, and Global Cycling Network is a little ahead of its normal pace too. Akhtar sits second of nine by subscribers.
