Nine hours old, and "SCP-8122 Venus de Flytrap" is already the busiest video on the channel. The title's pun on the famous armless statue and a meat-eating plant is about as SCP as a name gets, and it is gathering views faster than anything else in the catalog right now.

It closed a four-upload week that swung between moods. "Wholesome SCPs The Foundation Want to Hide from You" is the week's biggest by total, a gentler corner of the fictional archive, while "Top 7 Cosmic Entities & Flesh Mutations SCP Foundation Contianed" went the other way and opened a little more slowly. "SCP-3000 Anantashesha" revisits one of the wiki's best-known entries, the enormous serpent named after the cosmic snake of Hindu mythology. It is moving at a much calmer pace than its newer neighbors.

The subscriber count held still across the week. Among the story and mystery channels, Shane2 had a lively stretch, well above its usual pace, while Dr Bob ran quieter than normal.
