A million views for SportsCenter NEXT's courtside repair crew

The cheerleading rescue joins Bear Bachmeier's four-touchdown performance in an eleven-upload week.

Bear Bachmeier threw, ran and caught his way into the end zone, but SportsCenter NEXT's biggest new-upload audience gathered around a basketball game that couldn't restart.

The cheerleading clip we covered here has now passed a million views. Credited to jatanajackson, it shows players freeing a stuck ball only to leave the net tangled around the rim. The squad supplies the solution: a coordinated lift that puts a cheerleader within reach to untangle it. Viewers keep discussing the stunt's supporting base, the squad's athleticism and the familiar cheerleader wave afterward.

That rescue remains the channel's busiest upload right now. Elsewhere in the eleven-video week, Bachmeier's BYU highlights offer a particularly varied scoring reel: a passing touchdown, two rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown in the Cougars' win over Notre Dame. The SC Next Showcase also supplies a close finish, with IMG Academy surviving NFL Academy UK's comeback attempt.

SportsCenter NEXT added roughly 1.4 million views over seven days while its subscriber count stayed unchanged. Daily viewing is currently a little above its usual level. Among nearby sports channels, ESPN College Football is having a much larger viewing week; TNT Sports US has a smaller weekly total, though its daily audience is also above normal.

Basketball wasn't all maintenance work, either. Dylan Harper's preseason highlights against Sacramento brought a more conventional contribution to the week's schedule: scoring and assists in a Spurs win.
